A real picture of the surrounding world does not exist at all, since we can not trust our sight or the experience correcting it. Natural seeing does not satisfy us – that is why we paint. | Gerhard Richter |

I am interested in observing the dependences between people, objects, the relation between things. From this arises the context, an idea for a painting. An object or a figure appears in the consciousness by a constant flow of silhouettes. They are the substance of formation, only my comprehension gives them. Being subject to constant change, they are things only for me. At the same time, I am aware of the fact that they are being corrected every time and the new “looks” can replace the previous one. Thus, looking is a stream established into one perception and the object emerges from the consecutive corrections. While encountering any phenomenon I did not know before but I am beginning to understand and learn, a need to precisely define this thing appears. The matter of naming.

The structure of painting results from the manner of perceiving the world. A look is never objective, but it is conditioned by individual predispositions of concentrating on the things that are significant for us. The vision of the world through the prism of painting may be implemented in various ways of perceiving it. It is dependent on the technical medium we choose as suitable for realizing a specific observation.
